The challenge!! To combine a scientific meeting with a road trip itinerary for a very demanding group of VIP clients who travel to the most exclusive places in the world every year on their meeting occasion.
The solution!! A well thought itinerary which started, against the norm, from Northern Greece – Thessaloniki (instead of Athens). It combined, in an elegant way, scientific meetings in the hotels, hospital site visits and a rich program of cultural and archaeological interest visits to important sites of mainland Greece: Vergina, Meteora, Delphi, Epidaurus. Although these are popular places of interest for visitors to Greece, the program was developed and executed in a way
which ensured the feeling of exclusivity, offering premium services, personalized solutions, a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the duration of the trip and a comfortable experience, despite the distances covered and the number of places and museums visited. Picking different airports for the arrival (Thessaloniki) and the departure (Athens) of the group proved to be a wise solution for ensuring comfort for the participants while attention was paid to keep the budget to reasonable standards. The group was highly demanding and well experienced in premium travel programmes, and Erasmus was proud to hear from their lips that the trip to Greece was a “true success”.
