The Season kicked off in Athens, with the 3rd Athens International Elbow Course which took place with great success on September 7-9, 2018.
The rest of September was super – extra – busy in all parts of the company:
- Operations working full power for the last details of the seven events lined up in October – November – December
- Business development preparing for Travel Trade Athens, ICCA Congress, IBTM and several bids for new projects for the years 2019-2022
- Finances finetuning the integration of Erasmus’ new event management software with the existing accounting systems of the company

Among our projects, a milestone was the inaugural European Lifestyle Medicine Congress which took place in Geneva, on 10-11 November 2018. Sometimes working for a client can be very inspirational for the team, going far beyond project management and this is true in the case of our cooperation with the European Lifestyle Medicine Organization for which Erasmus provides association management and core PCO services.This cooperation has triggered our interest in healthy living! |

Our sales force and business development on the other hand ensured that leads and requests for new projects keep making their way to Erasmus. At the same time, we stay up to date with the latest trends and future perspectives in the event management sector globally. In early October we spent 2 intensive days full of B2B meetings during the Travel Trade Athens and in late November we traveled to Barcelona for the IBTM, exhibiting as part of the Greek National Tourism Organization. Earlier in November we had traveled to Dubai for the 57th ICCA Congress, where we also had the opportunity to take part in the CSR activity of the congress by donating glasses for children and adults.
